Mom took this pic of me when I fell asleep after being so nosy. I love the sun. We had a great time up north--sunsets, campfires, beach days with my cousins. I love you guys!!!

Wow Drew,

It looks as if your summer is really a blast this year. I wish I could share in those special times with you and your family.

I LOVE your chillin chair, buddy!!! Cousin Mike had one that was a llfeguard chair. Aunt Sue sent it to FL from MI, when we lived down there a gazillion years ago. We would go to Mike's gramma's condo in Venice, FL and we would play on the beach or at the pool for hours on end. There is just something about being outside at a beach, that brings so much joy to people.

I just got back from Soulstice last Sunday night and I am sad to leave such a wonderful place. I had two very big parties....onewas July 4th and the next one was hosting a rehearsal dinner for a good friend's son, who got married. My friend's house was too small so I volunteered to host the 40 plus people at my house. Wow Drew, all of those people were so sweet, it was like they were a part of my family! They all loved to be with each other, and it made me remember just how much OUR family loves and enjoys each other.

Oh, I have to tell you that Mike and Steve are doing great. And cousin Johnny is supposed to come to the DC area in August for a training class!!! I am going to have a big family dinner to celebrate his coming. That should be around the time you will have finished your surgery.

And about that surgery, buddy. Be brave. You need it for your growth and development. Mom will make sure you are comfy enough. I have had lots of surgeries, and they are no fun, that is for sure. But once they are done, you will be better. Just know that all of us here, will be praying that God guides the hands and minds of all the docs, nurses, care givers, and anyone who is around you, so they can help you go through this as easily and comfortably as possible. You are one special little man.

You are my hero, Drew. You and your parents inspire me to be a better person, to try harder, or to endure more with grace and dignity, the way you all have.

I love you little buddy. Hey, give mom and dad a sweet hug and kiss for me. And know that if I was there, I would wrap my arms around you and love you too much!

Peace and blessings, Terri
