I had lunch with a friend today, and we were talking about when the rugrats were little. It made me want to look at old photos, and post some for your viewing pleasure!!!!

Reminiscing

I had lunch with a friend today, and we talked about when our kids were smaller. Check out her blog under 'amazing people and their blogs' below.

All that talk about the rugrats when they were younger inspired me to look at pictures. These have been a few of my faves for your viewing pleasure.

what's new

It is Sunday, and everyone is at Dave's for a fun day of tubing and togetherness. We skipped it cuz mom and dad are worried cuz I have been having so many seizures. I had another one this morning. We started new meds on Thursday, but it will take a while for them to level off in my body so they work. We are thinking of everyone and sad we had to miss it.
We still managed to have a fun weekend---the best part was hanging out with Matt yesterday and grillin' out at Aunt Susie and Uncle John's. Matt is my cousin, home from Army training and getting ready to go to Korea. We will miss him and pray for him every day.
Today, mommy, lolly and I went to Stony Creek and hung out at the beach. It was a beautiful day. I am very tired from the new meds, but we can't stay cooped up in the house! We were close to home and I got my sun time. Life is good.
Love you all,
Drew :)

Mom took this pic of me when I fell asleep after being so nosy. I love the sun. We had a great time up north--sunsets, campfires, beach days with my cousins. I love you guys!!!

This is a cool pic of Daddy playing frisbee with Uncle Jim and my boys on the beach.

summer time

We went to the cottage with the Madigan's and Charlie. It was very fun. We checked out the sunset and swam on friday night, hung out at the beach on Saturday. Mom took this pic cuz I was so nosy, I wanted to see what was going on with everyone at the beach. This was after we went swimming and I was walking like a champ in the water! Mom uses a foam noodle to hold me up and I can truck along. I love the beach.

4th of July weekend

Finally, I am blogging about our weekend and posting a few pics!
We had beautiful weather all weekend. We left Thursday am, and traffic wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
We had a few friends up there (missed Lolly!) and packed in as much fun stuff as we could. We hung out at the beach on Friday, then went back to beach to watch the fireworks. It was a great show--there were a ton of people there. We went into Tawas on Saturday and walked around, then had a fun evening meeting the guys for Vegas Night at the clubhouse and a smaller fireworks show. Sunday we stuck close to the cottage, as Drew was wiped out from all of the walks, beach time, grilling out, sightseeing, and that awesome up-north fresh air.
We hope everyone had a great weekend too.

Pre 4th of July

We are leaving tomorrow for the cottage. Check back after Tuesday to see lots of pics of us hanging out on the beach and having fun. The weather is supposed to be great, which is awesome. I am fiending to play some Skip-Bo, since I got it for my DS and have become an addict. I will make Lars, Co and Chris play the real card game. It is so fun. I will spare you pics of us playing cards, however, check back if you wanna see my favorite beach bum enjoying our freedoms that our soldiers have fought so hard for over the years.
Memorial day is supposed to be for that, but the 4th of July always evokes my appreciatiation and realization how blessed we truly are, to be able to head to vacation spots, drive or fly and complain about the expense, eat too much, indulge too much, and do whatever the hell we want cuz we are FREE. Thank you Johnny, Matt, and everyone else who gives up their lives for ours.
I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Thought for the Day

It isn't how you walk in life, but how you walk through life that matters.
